No Matter The Size, Every Donation Makes a Difference

Thank you for your willingness to support Project Stepping Stone.  It is because of you and your grace and compassion that we are able to provide local families a stable and safe place to rest their heads so they can focus on building their future.

“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.” – 2 Peter 1:5-8

Project Stepping Stone is always in need of kindhearted individuals, who are willing to donate their time as volunteers. If you are willing to volunteer your time or old house hold goods such as furniture or food, Please click the volunteer button above.

One-time volunteer – Join us on a House Work Day to help clean, paint and do yard work. These dates are scheduled as needed, generally after a family has left the house. Or, let us know your particular skill set and we’ll give you a call whenever we need the sink fixed, or the porch stained. Or, help us plan the Dessert Auction!

Join the board – As an all-volunteer organization, or board members are active in determining policies and fundraising, but also hands-on work of on-going house maintenance and mentoring families. It’s always a challenge, but it is very rewarding.

Donate stuff – Project Stepping Stone frequently needs towels & sheets & kitchen supplies. We less frequently need couches, chairs, dining room tables and other large furniture. Drop us an email and ask what we’re needing at the moment!

Donate money – With three older houses, maintenance is on-going, and there’s always the electric bills and gas bills. Money donated to Project Stepping Stone goes directly to paying these costs, as well as other costs related to running a non-profit. These costs may sound mundane, but they’re what allows us to offer the homes rent-and-utility-free to the PSS residents.
